Take a deep breath through your nose and count the seconds: one…two…three... Hold your breath for as long as possible, and slowly exhale through your mouth.

As you take a deep breath, lift your shoulders as high as possible, close to your ears. This action helps to release tension in your neck and shoulders.

 

Keep your shoulders tight for a few seconds, and then let them drop in a split second, allowing the tension to dissipate.

Repeat deep breathing and lifting your shoulders for a couple of minutes.
